Redstone in South America

Redstone Resources has recently acquired four exploration projects in the Amazon region of Brazil, targeting potassium, phosphate, iron ore and nickel. They are:

• Aneba Project: Potassium in Permian salt diapirs in northern Amazon Basin;
• Apui Project: Phosphate in Palaeozoic Basin south-eastern Amazon State;
• Pontal Project: Iron ore in Siderian Basin to the west of Carajas mineral province; and
• Pimenteiras Project: Nickel (both sulphide and laterite) in Grenvillian-age intrusions along the Brazil-Bolivia border.
