Nickel - Pimenteiras Project

Nickel - Pimenteiras Project

The Sunsas Province in the south west Amazon Craton of Brazil has been identified as the most important belt for nickel exploration in South America. The belt also encompasses the largest number of mafic-ultramafic intrusions on the continent. This region has been identified as one of the best in the world to explore for Voisey's Bay type nickel deposits. The area is also highly prospective for nickel-laterite deposits.

The Pimenteiras Project comprises eight tenements over bipolar magnetic anomalies detected in the same belt as the world-class Morro-Sem-Bone giant nickel-laterite deposit (47Mt @ 1.76% Ni) of Anglo American Co.
